The Turtle Management Center monitors the appearance of turtles in the area, ensures that the eggs are not stolen, and that the turtles are able to hatch their eggs in safely. Eggs take 45-65 days to hatch. As their numbers have been declining the Turtle Management Center undertakes great effort to save these turtles from extinction.

Marine turtles are unique marine creatures, categorised as reptiles. There are seven species of marine turtles in the world, and four of these species land and lay their eggs on Malaysian beaches but only one species land in Melaka beaches - The Hawksbill Turtle. The four species of marine turtles found in Malaysia are the Leatherback turtle,Hawksbill turtle,Green turtle and Olive Ridley turtle. During the hatching season between March and September, lucky visitors get to release baby turtles into the sea. That its for today. Save Our Turtles Today!.
